Sarah W. Anderson

I'm a writer based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. My short story "Take Me to Kirkland" (originally published in Joyland)  is forthcoming in the Best American Short Stories 2025 anthology. My work has also been published in Epiphany magazine, nominated for the Pushcart Prize, won two Hopwood Awards, and received support from the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund. I'm a recent graduate of the Helen Zell Writers' Program at University of Michigan. I'm currently at work on my first novel.
